In summer, I would use it differently: as a darker corner after a bright day, or as shelter when Berlin decides to send a storm across Ku’damm with very little warning.

I like red rooms when they are not trying too hard. They can be dangerous if badly lit and wonderful if they understand restraint. Fox Bar gives the evening a little colour without asking us to become louder than we are.

This is a good choice if dinner has been gentle and we want a final drink with more personality. Not a rooftop, not a scene, not a place where everyone is secretly waiting to be recognised. Just a room with enough character to keep the night awake.
